“A picture is worth a thousand words”
Graphic elements can make or break the retention of your visitor. Each picture shows a story fast and simple. Some website designs that I have come across place a lot of text in hopes of luring customers through a great sales copy. Remember this is the era of youtube, facebook and myspace. Time is very limited. Instead of reading people can watch videos or have an actor sell their services.
So instead of writing the greatest sales copy for your website, try to show it using a great graphic. Also, placing a logo or graphic of another company enhances your reputation. If you had a graphic of “National Geographic” rather than small text, then your potential visitor would be more interested in your web design(link) offering.
