In my travels across the web, I have found many websites that lack experience. So here is a few components that hinder a website experience.

Website Popup windows

Every internet browser is well equipped with popup blockers. The main reason is because almost 99% of the time, every popup is an advertisement for some erectile problem or gambling. if a website I am on, has a popup, I close the window right away. (I hate having a lot of windows open). What I say is, why have a popup when you can do the exact same thing on the current web page? How many software’s you have installed to block web popup’s?

 

Bottom line: Popup = kill user experience.

 

Website text readability

As we move into the era of web 2.0, text is playing a major role in conveying meaning. Before, web design graphics use to clog up the screen but now, the web page revolves around content. I am not saying there is a perfect font-size for websites but there is a thin line where text becomes hard to read whereas you can increase the size and space it out so that reading is more comfortable. Your online web content can be great but without readability your website design is useless and will not churn revenue.
